Comments: Dr. Patel was kind, attentive and willing to answer any and all questions. I expressed my concerns that my diagnosis not be mistaken for osteoarthritis prematurely. He carefully listened to my past arthritic history before determining that osteoarthritis was, in fact, what ails me. South Coast Orthopedic Specialists offers a wide array of ortho coverage and I have had much success there in dealings with them with respect to my joint health, including three different surgeries (all necessary and all successful). But Dr. Patel carefully examined the x-rays and determined that my condition was not one that could be remedied by surgery and the old "wear-and-tear" game was in progress. At least I confidently now know my options and appreciate the good doctor's care.
